Studio pics

The first picture is of all things Cranky Pats. My friends work there so I thought my out of this world photography skills could help promote their business.

The second photo is of my friend Jess. She's an amazing artist and she's seen here throwing up her very exclusive art gang's sign.

The third photo is a bag of bullets. These are the bullets they fired off at my grandfather's funeral. Since they are bullets symbolizing his time served I thought I'd throw a red light over it to portray blood from the battlefield. Or some meaningful crap like that.

Studio~Becky

This unwashed brussels sprout looks very natural. It's not all one texture, which makes interesting. Also, if you zoom in there's a tiny green worm on the inside on the top leaf. I didn't even notice it!

Scotty Michel pensively looks into the camera.
I had some that had more dramatic shadows, but I liked this one because you can see the whole face and the color on one side adds some interest.

A discarded bamboo shoot still had some life in the leaves.
I decided on the one focusing on the roots instead of the leaves, I thought it was a more interesting aspect.

Live from the studio...my favorites - Kathy

1 - My still life is roses that I thought were colorful and pretty...also my favorite flower. I liked this angle of the flowers with the change of coloring from inside to outside.

2 - I thought I was being very original doing sushi :( Sushi is my favorite food and I think it's a visually appealing food with the layers and colors.

3 - My favorite person in the world, my nephew Teydon. I liked this picture because of the angle and the depth of field with his foot in front.
